Principle of High Purity Oxygen Generator

A high purity oxygen generator operates on a two-step principle involving compression and adsorption. Firstly, air is compressed to increase its pressure, and then it is passed through adsorption beds filled with specialized adsorbent materials like zeolite or activated carbon molecular sieves. 

These materials selectively adsorb nitrogen molecules, allowing oxygen to be enriched in the outlet stream, while nitrogen is captured and released during the desorption process. 

By alternately switching between adsorption beds and regeneration, a continuous supply of high-purity oxygen is achieved, suitable for various applications in fields such as healthcare, metallurgy, and electronics.
