The amount of water vapor in compressed air is determined by the temperature of the compressed air. While keeping the pressure of the compressed air basically unchanged, lowering the temperature of the compressed air can reduce the water vapor content in the compressed air, while excess water vapor will condense into a liquid. 

Refrigated air dryer is a device that uses a refrigeration device to cool compressed air to a certain dew point temperature based on the corresponding relationship between the saturated vapor and temperature of water. 

The water contained in the air is separated out and discharged through an air water separator and an electronic drain, thereby drying the compressed air.
